Not only the setup is poor because it creates a lot of unwanted heat worse - it doesn’t even properly oxygenate my base: Pips are not meaty enough to make up for the Hatches.Īnother problem I found is that I have to start fixing Oxygen, now. Since I was not missing ANY opportunity to increase the Hatch population, this is why I doubt Carnivore on this setup is possible without Algae. On the good side, this netted me with quite some hatches: I have also started a mini-game I call egg huggling:Įgg goes in, hug it, drop it, repeat. With this setup (starvation ranching fish), 15 fish are required to feed a dupe, so this can consistently feed … not even half of my dupes. If my dupes start eating BBQ/Cooked Seafood exclusively now – which they don’t – it will take 34 cycles to get the achievement. This is clearly not sustainable.Įxcept that last loop filled with CO2 because I was dumb should have been polluted oxygen. It doesn’t loop, though, just sits there to feed the metal refinery.
